Wellingborough is having its first ever vegan market on Saturday 24th June, at Tithe Barn in the town centre. It’s being organised by V12, who are a vegan awareness raising group run by brother and sister Michelle and Alan Dove. They are both long time vegans and are keen to show, in a compassionate and fun way, why veganism is a good idea. The market is on from 11am till 3pm and costs just £1 to come in, with under 16s free.
There will be a large range of local and national vegan, and vegan friendly businesses to choose from, such as Hornett Wholefoods, Mex It Up (Mexican street food), Lunar Tree (bath bombs, candles, homewares etc) and plenty more! There will also be animal charities to talk to, and an information stand about why and how to become vegan.
For more information and a full list of stallholders, please visit their Facebook page – www.facebook.com/VeganV12. There’s a wealth of information on there about the fair, including short videos of some of the stallholders! The weather looks much cooler on Saturday too, and the Tithe Barn is such a beautiful building – it should be a lovely day all round!
